We can't always predict the weather, however we can determine if a home is in an existing flood zone. Our staff is committed to making the flood zone determination, certification and mapping process smooth and efficient.

We specialize in determining whether or not a home is located in a Special Flood Hazard Area as determined by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). To make this determination, we reference several FEMA and applicable local maps, such as parcel maps, plat maps and subdivision maps.

These maps allow us to pinpoint the property in relation to the area where there is a one- percent or greater chance of being flooded annually (based on a 100-year flood plain). If LandSafe determines the home does fall within any of these flood areas, we will notify the lender, and they will assist the property owner in obtaining flood insurance from a National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) insurance provider.
